The Third Round Learning Benchmark under ESAP2 kicks off today in Adama, Oromia with the objective of Stimulating the Social Accountability Movement.
At the learning benchmark all SAIPs, citizens and service providers will share their remarkable achievements.
Lucia Nass, Social Accountability Expert and Lead facilitator of LB says, “I’m feeling very excited because we are having new people in the room, more and more people are coming on board with SA because the project is registering good results. So today we will start looking at these results per sector. It will be exciting to hear about these and share. I’m hoping that these results will increasingly engage the sector ministries to consider partnerships with NGOs just like the Ministry of Finance has started with FTA linkage.”
The LB has brought together all SAIPs, citizens, service providers and representatives from MoFED, BoFEDs, Ministry of Civil Service, sector ministries and development partners. Over 500 people are expected to take part in the LB in three rounds.
